GDC PREMIER COMMUNITIES NAMES COHEN, FREEDMAN, ENCINOSA ARCHITECTS FOR ALAQUA AVENTURA
AVENTURA, FL—(January 9, 2003)—

The firm of Cohen, Freedman, Encinosa has been commissioned as the project architect for Alaqua Aventura, the new Mediterranean-style condominium being built at 3001 NE 185th Street in the heart of downtown Aventura. The company is known for their work on Peninsula, Hamptons, and Grove Isle.

To capture the European flair, the Miami Lakes-based firm is designing the mid-rise condominium with terracotta stucco and four, five and seven story elevations. “The property will have a real urban feel,” notes Principal Stu Cohen, “The style of Alaqua was designed around consumer demand so we introduced ten-foot ceilings and oversized windows to create a spacious feeling in each of the units.”

Alaqua will have its own marina. Other amenities include a resident clubroom with adjoining kitchen, a lushly landscaped promenade, oversized pool, heated spa, fountain, 24-hour guard and valet. Plus, an 1,800 square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center will overlook the waterway.
