Michael Mulhall Heads Up Aventura Property
AVENTURA, FL—(November 4, 2003)—

GDC Premier Communities, a condominium development company based in Orlando, is expanding into South Florida with their newest property, Alaqua. Alaqua’s development will be directed by Michael Mulhall, director of Florida development. Alaqua, the company’s first Miami project, will be a193-unit luxury condominium to be built directly on the water at 3001 NE 185th Street in the heart of downtown Aventura.

At GDC, Mulhall is responsible for the acquisition and the development of multi-family communities throughout the southeast. Prior to joining GDC, Mulhall was the Development Partner for Trammell Crow Residential’s North Florida Division. He was also Vice President of Industrial Development for Hamner Development Company, a regional developer with a portfolio in excess of one million square feet of Class A office and industrial property in the Norfolk, Virginia market. Mulhall was a Dean’s List student at Virginia Tech, where he graduated with a degree in Urban Development. He is also a State Certified General Appraiser and a Licensed Real Estate Broker.

The Mediterranean-inspired building will have its own private marina and will be close to the soon-to-be developed Town Center and Loehman’s Plaza. Alaqua will also be just minutes from South Florida’s major airports and dining and shopping venues. One to three bedrooms range from 900 to 1,900 square feet with prices from the $300,000s.
